Learn about the Mission, Vision, and Objectives of Suffolk User Forum.
Our Vision
Where lived experience is at the heart of all mental health services, making the principle of “nothing about us, without us” a reality.
Our Mission
We empower people with lived experience of severe and enduring mental ill health, including those in primary care, secondary care, and inpatient settings, to actively shape and influence mental health services. Through co-creating inclusive spaces, we ensure that every voice is heard, respected, and central to decision-making.
Our Charitable Objectives
Suffolk User Forum has five key charitable objectives.

Suicide Prevention: SUF is committed to raising awareness and providing support to prevent suicide.
Empowering Individuals: SUF empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their mental health through advocacy, Healthy Together peer support, information and signposting.
Promoting Mental Wellbeing: SUF works to increase understanding of mental wellbeing and reduce stigma.
Building Community: SUF fosters a sense of community through promoting membership, volunteering and peer support.
