Role: Engagement Lead – Mental Health Transformation

About me

I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and my Cockapoo Luna and enjoy going long walks with her along meadows near where I live. I also love the beach and just sit down on the sand and listen to the waves crash over the rocks its so soothing and a great way to recharge my batteries. I also like to host parties for my family and friends at mine and love to cook and entertain them.  I’m very good at DIY and have completed many projects at home and at my families houses.

About my work

I have been working for SUF for nearly 2 years and have been the engagement lead for the Early Adopter pilot in Haverhill and I also lead on Suffolk’s Suicide Prevention Strategy for SUF. I am very passionate about Suicide Prevention and I am trained in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training) and mental health first aid and I am also keen to participate in other courses to enhance my skills and knowledge. I have been very lucky to work with some amazing  people who have lived experienced in co producing  different workstreams as part of the suicide prevention strategy. I am keen to do more co production work so peoples lived experiences are heard and it is vital to improving services for people in Suffolk.
