Paul Scott appointed as the new chief executive of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT), which oversees Colchester Hospital and Ipswich Hospital. He brings extensive NHS leadership experience and a strong track record in system development and integration.
Scott currently serves as chief executive at Essex Partnership University Trust. He previously served as chief financial officer at Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust and as executive director of finance, strategy and performance at Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust. He has also held senior leadership roles at the East of England Ambulance Service and Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust.
Scott said: “I’m looking forward to joining the ESNEFT team in July where I know together, we can build on service improvements and transformation that has already started, ensuring that the voices of patients and their families is central to the design and delivery of care.”
