The aim of these workshops is to ensure that service users across the County are given the opportunity to share their views and ideas for the development of a new strategy for people living with Personality Disorder (PD).
Feedback from the events will be shared with Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust to support coproduction in the design of this new strategy.
The workshops will work to identify;
- The range of care, treatment and support available in Suffolk;
- To understand what people think works well or not so well;
- To identify what service users’ expect to see and experience from a new strategy to ensure people living with PD are not excluded from accessing services and have real choices in the treatment and support they receive.
Why are we saying ‘making it real?’
Because we understand from what people have told us, that the care and treatment pathways for people living with PD need to be consistent, open and clear giving people the opportunity to know and understand their options, choices and type of support, including during times of crisis. There needs to be a culture of hope and optimism that recovery is possible.
Travel costs and parking expenses can be claimed through Suffolk User Forum. There will be refreshments at each event.
