In 2019 SUF worked with our members, service users, those bereaved by suicide and the National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NPSA) to explore the development of a national lived experience network.
We are pleased to report that NSPA have now launched their Lived experience network, through which they are striving to ensure that suicide prevention activity across the country is underpinned by the voices of people with lived experience.
You can join the NSPA online panel once or twice a month using your lived experience to inform their influencing work, support policy responses or comment on campaign plans.
You can also become a NSPA influencer, working at a strategic level to influence suicide prevention policy and practice. This might include, for example, being part of advisory and steering groups; meetings with local and national government; reviewing national, regional or local suicide prevention strategies and plans; or speaking at events.

You can also continue to work with SUF, supporting our lived experience and coproduction work for suicide prevention in Suffolk. Contact us if you would like to find out more by calling us on 01473 907087 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
