Suffolk User Forum, which has helped thousands of people continues to grow and will be able to support more people with mental health problems than ever before after making a vital new appointment. We were delighted to appoint Tina Pointon as Service User Engagement Lead for East Suffolk in November 2017.
Tina will replicate the work of Wendy Shepherd who carries out the same role in the west of the county, meaning SUF will be working with more individuals and groups across Suffolk.
Tina’s role will include engaging with community groups across East Suffolk and contributing to supporting those who are lonely, vulnerable and mentally unwell.
Mrs Pointon comes with a wealth of experience in the health care sector. She has experience working within acute services, elderly care, drug and alcohol services and most recently as mental health clinical linkworker.
