Get involved with the NSFT East Working Together Group

What is a Working Together Group?

Working together groups are open forums where anyone with experience of using Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trusts’ (NSFT) services can meet to share and generate ideas. To resolve issues and seek combined opportunities with staff and other service users, to create improvements and shape services where needed.

The focus of the group will be review, co-produce and co-facilitate new initiatives and service changes.

How often will the group meet?

The group will meet monthly on a Monday via MS Teams. Group members will be sent an agenda approximately one week before the meeting and the MS Teams link.

What will be expected of me?

Participants in the group will work in line with our trust values, respectfully, positively and together, and will be respectful of each other’s experiences and ideas.

The group will remain confidential, in the sense that information can be passed on from service users and carers as anonymously (unless there is an issue of risk which requires disclosure). Group
members will protect each other’s anonymity and confidentiality by not revealing personal or identifying information to anyone outside the group. Participants will be offered the opportunity to chair the meetings, if comfortable to do so.

Who will Facilitate the group?

The People Participation Coordinator and experts by experience will facilitate the group alongside staff, service users and carers.

Who can take part?

We are looking for individuals with experience of our inpatient wards and community services.
