Just before Christmas 2017, the Suffolk Mentally Healthy Communities Programme Board agreed our funding bid for a Stay Alive Suicide Prevention and Crisis care planning App for Suffolk. The funding is being provided by Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust.
SUF is now working with the App provider and designers Grassroots Suicide Prevention to get the app designed for Suffolk.
Thank you to everyone who supported us by completing our survey about the value, use and design function for this app in Suffolk. Your feedback and ideas has been invaluable in supporting our funding bid.

Thank you to all those who first supported the initial proposal for a suicide prevention App and who prioritised this as a key issue for suicide prevention, in our workshops for suicide prevention held in July 2016.
