Crazy? Or wise? The traditional wisdom of indigenous cultures often differs from our modern views about mental health crises. Is it a calling to grow, or just a ‘broken brain’? This documentary explores what we can learn from people around the world who have turned their psychological crisis into a positive, life-changing experience.
Phil Borges has been documenting indigenous cultures for over 25 years. He has spoken at multiple TED talks and has hosted television documentaries for Discovery and National Geographic.
This event will be opened by Phil who is visiting the UK, followed by a Q&A session and a call to action.
1.00pm – Registration and refreshments.
1.20pm – A welcome by Katie to introduce Phil Borges who will then introduce the film.
