Good sleep, nutrition, exercise, and relaxation are the key elements that will help keep us strong and healthy in mind, body and spirit during the COVID-19 pandemic when we are social distancing and many of us are self-isolating. Taking some simple steps will help us manage the worries, fears and anxieties that so many of us are experiencing.
Based on the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ programme, we are producing regular self-care updates, covering the following five key areas; Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.
These self-care guides give us all some proven tips on how we can incorporate self-care into everyday life to help manage and reduce stress and anxiety.
Staying connected is so valuable to our sense of wellbeing. We have found so much energy and enthusiasm for finding new ways to not only maintain but to also grow our wider connections.
