We have been asked to coproduce a refresh of the Suffolk Suicide Prevention Strategy and would like to invite Service Users, Family Carers and staff to work together with us, discussing what you feel is needed, what is missing, and what can be improved in Suffolk for Suicide Prevention.
Due to the pandemic, we will meet via Zoom in very small groups up to four people maximum. You may choose to be seen by video or to display your name. We appreciate that talking about Suicide can be extremely difficult, as well as very emotional for not only those who are sharing their experience, but for those also listening. We wish to ensure people have support during these meetings and that anyone can feel free to leave the meeting at any time. We will contact anyone who does leave meetings unexpectedly, to ‘check-in’ and see how they are.
If you think you would like to take part please email email@example.com or call 01473 907087 and leave a short message with your contact details and one of the team will get back to you.

Service users have still been reporting to us that some professionals have told them that death by suicide is ‘their choice’. Together we have challenged this across the system and in mental health transformation, Change the language – Save a life; Suicide is not a choice.
We look forward to hearing from you.
