Richard Watson, the CCGs’ deputy chief executive, said:
“The provision of mental health and emotional wellbeing services continues to improve and we are determined to continue with delivering change that positively impacts people’s lives.
As we implement that change it’s important any new potential or existing service provider is subject to scrutiny to ensure they can deliver, and this is where the Assurance and Procurement Public Representatives have such an important role to play.
Their input and scrutiny of bidders will strengthen the procurement process and I urge anyone interested to make contact to discuss the role.”
